Joseph Arnold

I am hoping to find more information on my great great grandfather, Joseph ARNOLD.  Per the census for 1842 for Gore/Lochaber,(Thurso) Quebec he was born in England between 1782-1812 and he came to Canada about 1825.   He married Catherine Price Procter who was born in Quebec and although I have not found a marriage record I believe they married in Quebec.    He died June 4, 1854 per Papineauville Quebec Baptist church records.

I have no clues as to where in England he was born and since I have not been able to find any other Arnold families in the area I suspect he was the only member of his family to come to Canada so I hope to one day make contact with another Arnold researcher who has a missing ancestor in England.
