Edward Orme

According to 1881 UK Census, Edward Orme, was 46 years old and born in Withington, Lancashire, England and so would have been in born in 1834 or 1835. His wife, Sarah Hannah, aged 44 year, was  born in Audenshaw, Lancashire in 1836 or 1837.  Sarah's maiden name may have been Bardsley but I have not been able to verify this.

Edward and his wife, Sarah, had 4 sons and 2 daughters:
   Alfred b. abt.1857 also in Audenshaw,
   Walter b. 1862 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire,
   William b. 1870 in Rugby, Warwickshire,
   John Thomas b. 1873 also in Rugby Warwickshire
   Mary Jane b. 1874 Heath Town, West Midlands
   Isabel/Isabell b. 1876 Heath Town, West Midlands  - my grandmother
Identification in photo is an educated guess based on this information.

Edward was a Railway Engine Driver, Alfred was a Steam Engine Fitter, Walter was a Steam Engine Fitter Apprentice.

Edward Orme also had a brother Thomas living with them (1881 UK Census) who was 7yrs. younger and appears to be widowed.

Sarah died, at the age of  84, in 1920 whilst residing at my Grandfather Edward William Murray's (see next paragraph) home on 74 Prosser Street, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, West Midlands formerly Staffordshire.

Isabel was my Grandmother.  She married Edward William Murray in 1896.  Unfortunately she died in 1920 when my mother was not yet 5 years old.
