Ancestor of the Month

Each month, at the AGS General Meeting, a draw is held and the holder of the winning ticket is asked to submit the name and known details of an elusive ancestor.  This information is placed here, on our web site, in the hopes that other researchers may be able to provide some information or research hints to assist the submitter.

The people listed below include those submitted by earlier winners but remain current on our web site for a year or so.  Please take a look at all of the featured ancestors and see if you can help in some way.

AGS Members who have won the ancestor draw may submit their entry to the webmaster as an email attachment.  Take a look at some of the current entries to see what you might submit and how to format it.  Small pictures in jpeg format are welcome.  Be sure to mention the month in which you won the draw and include your member number. Also, be sure to indicate whether you want your email address published online.  If you don't, replies will be directed to the AGS email address.
