Stray BC Wills Index

The Abbotsford Genealogical Society is pleased to offer a service providing copies of 2620 wills registered in British Columbia by non-residents (strays) during the time period 1864 to 1939.  These copies are taken from the original official will books which were donated to our Resource Centre after they were copied to microfilm.
 
The index was compiled by AGS members Pat Confrey, Faye Hicks, Pam Ripley and Deanna Smith.
 
The first step is to download the Stray BC Wills Index and search for the person you are interested in.  The index is arranged alphabetically by surname.  The Society hopes that you will be able to find a will for your ancestor.
 
If you find a will of interest and you would like a copy, there is a $15.00 charge ($10 for members) for the first four (4) pages including postage.  Each additional page is $1.00 including the postage.  For an estimate please write to us at:
